We started by watching
Before we wrote a line of code, we followed how a moving company takes an inquiry, prices it, plans the day, sends the crew out and gets the hours back in.
Built for moving companies. Movena brings inquiries, quotes, scheduling, crew and invoicing into one system. Hours and materials are logged on site and flow straight back to the office.
The programs do not talk to each other, so the same details get typed into more than one place. And none of them were built for the moving industry, so nothing happens automatically. Quotes, scheduling, follow-up, hours and invoices are all done manually, every time.
The same details typed into three places
Nothing happens automatically. Every step has to be started by hand
Time spent hunting for information
Hours spent on admin instead of on moves
It does not have to work like this.
All the office work sits in one system. Customers and inquiries, quotes and prices, scheduling crew and vans, materials and storage, hours and invoices. You stay in control. The system works out the quote, but you approve it before it goes to the customer.

Do customers find you through your website?
The form sits on your own site in your own design. The customer enters addresses, home size and what needs to go, and gets a price straight away. The inquiry lands in Movena fully filled in, before the phone even rings. You do not key anything in afterwards.
The customer gets a price based on how many hours and how many movers the job takes. You set the hourly rate yourself and how many movers are assumed at different home sizes.
The price is worked out from the size of the home. The customer enters square metres and floor, and the form adds surcharges for stairs, lifts and distance.
The customer fills in the details but does not get a price straight away. The inquiry reaches you with everything in it, and you set the price yourself. Typically used for large or unusual moves.
You set up a number of packages at a fixed price, for example one-bed, two-bed and house. The customer picks theirs and sees the price straight away.
You decide the prices, the surcharges and which jobs need a manual look.
Integrations with the accounting, payroll and payment systems Danish moving companies already run are on the way. The list is below.
None of these are live yet. We are building them in the order moving companies ask for them. If you run something that is not on the list, tell us and it goes on.
Movena was not drawn on a whiteboard. We sat in the office with Danish moving companies, went along on the jobs, and built the system around the way a move actually runs.
Before we wrote a line of code, we followed how a moving company takes an inquiry, prices it, plans the day, sends the crew out and gets the hours back in.
Quoting, scheduling, crew, materials and invoicing have been rebuilt every time a moving company told us that is not how it works in practice.
The companies running Movena today call us directly. What they are missing goes into the system, and we say so when something does not belong there.
Not a software house with a support number in another country. Movena is a Danish company. We sit in Copenhagen, we know the moving industry, and we answer the phone ourselves.

Answer a few questions about how you work today and get an estimate of the time and money you could save. With the maths behind every number.
Try the calculatorSwitching systems is what most owners worry about. So we don't make it your job. You don't move data, build price lists, or read a manual.
We call and listen to how you work today. What prices you run, how many you are, what vans you have. It is not a sales meeting, and we will tell you honestly if Movena is not a fit.
We add your prices, surcharges, crew, vans and materials. If your customers and jobs sit in a spreadsheet or another system, we move them over so you are not starting from scratch.
We run the first few moves together with you. If something comes up, we pick up the phone. No training course, no support queue, no waiting.
Setup, data migration and onboarding are free.
If something is not answered here, call us. We will answer honestly, including the questions that are not easy.
Yes. Movena is made by a Danish company in Copenhagen and built together with moving companies that run moves in Denmark every day. It handles Danish conditions: pricing in kroner, VAT, surcharges for stairs and lifts, storage with recurring billing, and the details a Danish customer asks about. Support is in Danish, and you talk to one of the three people who built the system, not a support queue in another country. The difference between us and an international platform is that we did not translate a foreign product into Danish. We built it around how a move actually runs here, and the same system runs for moving companies elsewhere in Europe.
No, and we would not recommend it. Most companies start with quotes and the calendar, so the office runs first. Once that sits, you take the app out to your crew. You set the pace, and we will not push you on before you are ready.
From the first call to running your first job is usually about a week. You do not have to do anything in the meantime. We build the setup while you get on with the moves.
We move it for you. Customers, past jobs, price lists and recurring agreements, whether it sits in a spreadsheet, another system or a folder. You do not key anything in again, and you do not start over with an empty system.
The app has three buttons: today’s jobs, start time, stop time. There is nothing more to learn. We walk your crew through it the first time, and if anyone gets stuck out on site they just call us.
Yes. Movena builds the invoice from the job and passes it on, so you are not booking the same thing twice. Integrations with e-conomic, Dinero, Billy, Uniconta, Visma, Danløn, Planday and MobilePay are on the way. None of them are live yet, so today the invoice goes out of Movena and into your own bookkeeping.
Then you are out. You own your data, and we export your customers, jobs, quotes and invoices to a normal spreadsheet format for you to take with you. No multi-year lock-in, no fee for stopping.
It depends on how many of you there are and what you need. We have not put prices on the site, because a two person operation and a twenty person operation should not pay the same. Call us and we will tell you the number straight away. Setup and onboarding are free.
We show you the system, hear how you run things today, and tell you honestly if it's not a fit.
